JUDD ENGELBRECHT

LAc, MSTOM (He/Him/His)

Judd is a New York State licensed acupuncturist, graduating from Pacific College of Health and Sciences with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. His specialties include, Mental health, LGBTQI+ community, Digestive disorders, Insomnia, Pain Management and Orthopedics, among other disorders.

Originally from MN, Judd grew up on 40 acres in the middle of the woods outside Brainerd, MN. He always enjoyed the outdoors, especially going to his grandparents farm about an hour and a half away from his hometown.  Interesting fact: Judd got his private pilots license when he was just 17 after his father taught him to fly a small single engine Super Cub plane from the field across the road from their house.

After graduating with a BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Judd decided his next move would be NYC when he was 21. After many successful years in the Advertising world as a Project Manager, Judd decided that he wanted to find a career in service of others. Suffering from sciatica, he went to an acupuncturist and was amazed how powerful the medicine was and how quickly his sciatica was treated. As he looked further into Chinese medicine, he was drawn to the idea of whole body balancing and healing, and the idea that the mind and body are connected and cannot be separated from one another. From there he researched the best schools and landed on PCHS to get his masters.

Project management helped hone Judd’s communication skills, which now help in the treatment room with his kind, caring bedside manner.
